Jess the Pirate

Here's the first of five miniatures I'm painting for a commission. I affectionately named her Jess after a good friend of mine, with whom I've had some swashbuckling good times! Jess was a fun piece to paint and base. The commission called for simple bases, so I used some Florida sand, fitting I hope, and a little piece of driftwood from my bag of sand.
